HI-TECH Software is happy to offer customers with a competitor's product to cross grade to a comparable HI-TECH Software tool. This initiative allows customers to convert to our products at a considerably discounted price.

Multi-User License

HI-TECH Software offers Multi-User License pricing for all of our HI-TECH C compilers. These licenses are specifically designed to meet the needs of institutions such as corporations. It allows an organization to install the software for concurrent use by a specified number of individuals and has proven to be the most convenient, flexible and cost-effective alternative to purchasing additional licenses. Benefits include:

• Elimination of administrative efforts as you will only need to keep track of one serial number
• Easier to upgrade - all copies upgraded at the same time

Educational License

HI-TECH Software lends support to the design of future technology products through helping educational institutions equip their classrooms with our tools. Primary, secondary, technical and post-secondary schools which have teaching as a core component of their educational mission are eligible to purchase our Educational Licenses at a discounted rate. These licenses are available for all HI-TECH Software products and entitle educational institutions to full-featured, registerable and upgradeable software.

HI-TECH Priority Access™

HI-TECH Software's HI-TECH Priority Access ensures that customers receive 12 month web access to new versions, patch level updates, and priority technical support for their nominated compiler during that 12-month support period.

For the convenience of our customers, HI-TECH Software has implemented an efficient and cost-effective method of providing our HI-TECH Priority Access. HI-TECH Priority Access can be obtained via a web download, or if a CD is required, additional media can be provided at an additional cost.

Customers with previous versions can also purchase HI-TECH Priority Access to upgrade their existing compiler to the current version.

Registering your product after purchase

If you have already purchased a product and need to register it, please use our On-Line Registration Form.

Activation

If you have registered, and received an Activation Code, and require help to activate your compiler, please see the Activation help page.

We do NOT use dongles (hardware keys) with any of our products. We do use a software-based activation system. This allows you to use the product immediately after purchase, with no restrictions - except it will cease to operate 45 days after installation. Once you have activated the product, these restrictions are removed. To receive the Activation key you must first register your product (see above).

The activation key is NOT locked to a single computer - you do not need to re-register if you upgrade or replace your computer, but you will need to re-activate it using the same key. This minimizes the risk of any disruption to your work.
