A new Microchip MPLAB IDE plugin with support for PICC-18 PRO is included in the release of this compiler.

HI-TIDE™ 3

This release has been made in conjunction with a new HI-TIDE which adds project management support for the PICC-18 PRO compiler, as well as maintaining support for the PICC-18 STD version compiler. The inbuilt core simulator for PIC18 devices will operate with code produced by both the PICC-18 STD and PRO compilers. In addition, C-Wiz shipped with this version of HI-TIDE includes support for most PIC18 peripherals. HI-TIDE is available for Windows (Vista version not yet available), Linux and Mac OS X.
