Staccato is an open source Software Design Method and Architecture for Embedded Systems. It is a new approach in designing very reliable and low maintenance embedded system software. Based on classical hardware design principles, the Staccato Design Method and Architecture is an alternative to using an RTOS to provide real-time capability to your embedded system software.
